Bio: Lauren Brocious is a Mass Communications and Marketing student at Virginia Commonwealth University. In 2014, Lauren decided to launch a YouTube channel that focused on beauty, fashion, and life advice for teenagers. In 2015, Lauren launched an anti-bullying video titled "#labels" that went viral. She received a lot of media attention including People Magazine, ABC News, Daily Inside Edition, and the Huffington Post. After receiving attention for the video, Lauren decided to launch a non-profit charity at the age of 18 years old to benefit Title 1 schools to help provide anti-bullying resources to schools in need and was developed in 2016. In 2016, Lauren was also hired by Talbots where she became a Personal Shopper. She helped clients pick and choose outfits to make them feel confident. Additionally, she was chosen to write for the Odyssey and HerCampus for their national headquarters to contribute to their beauty advice and content. She is an active sister in Alpha Xi Delta Iota Sigma chapter at VCU. Lauren loves to meet new people and to get to learn about individual's backgrounds and embraces others with open arms and wants everyone to feel welcomed in her presence. In her free time, Lauren enjoys producing YouTube videos, updating and posting content to her blog, shopping, watching her sister's athletic events, and spending time with her family and friends. Lauren says that one thing she hopes to do is to help people become kinder and more positive even in the difficult state of the world we live in today. In 2017 Lauren was named one of the Top 22 Most Influential College Females Under 22. In 2018, she was named one of the Top 40 Sisters Under 40 Sisters for her sorority, Alpha Xi Delta.
